Progressive re-opening from 4th July

Update Wednesday 24th June 2020

We are all delighted to have been given a date from which we can begin our reopening. Saturday 4th July is our ‘Independance Day!’
We still await the government guidance that will accompany today’s statement but can confirm the following:

– Anyone holding a Quiet Site Credit note can re-book their holiday from 4th July now. Thank you once more for your generous actions.
– Holiday Home owners may return from Saturday 4th July at 9am.
– Seasonal Touring Pitch holders may return from Saturday 4th July 9am.
– Cottages can be booked for 4th July onwards now.
-Glamping Cabins can be booked for 4th July onwards now.
– New touring bookings can be made for 4th July onwards now but initially only for units that can use their own facilities.
-Hobbit Holes and Pods will be bookable from 27th June for 4th July onwards. Credit note holders need to be booked in before we open availability to new bookings.
-Camping pitches, VW’s and touring units without their own facilities will be bookable from 27th June for arrivals on or after 24th July. We hope to be able to bring this date forward but will only do so once we get into our stride with the new operating methods.

The bar will be open with social distancing, table service and a one way system.

The shop will be open through the outside serving hatch.

The swings will be removed from the play park but the area will be open.

More information to follow as it becomes available. We will fine tune these measures as our experience of living with COVID19 grows.

All our guests need to be mindful of the community within which we operate. This is our community and is not to be put at risk. The majority of you have visited us before so already know that without the support of our local community we could not operate. Extra vigilance to provide generous social distancing and very slow driving along the access lanes is the minimum we would expect from our customers.  Anyone not abiding by this request will be required to leave.

The welfare of our team is also vital.  We will be providing contactless check-ins to all our guests. Face to Face contact will be at an absolute minimum. Our cleaning staff will be using appropriate PPE and fogging machines before and after cleans.

You, our customers will be provided with an environment where you can enjoy your holiday in safety. But you must be responsible for your own safety and consider the safety and wellbeing of all others at all times. There will be a  minimum 1m+ social distancing requirement at all times on site.  Anyone not abiding by this request will be required to leave.

The world is returning to a new normal and we are excited to be a part of it.  As ever we will be considering sustainability in all our business decisions.
