Update Wednesday 3rd June 2020

Following the most recent advice from Government, The Quiet Site remains closed by law for all accommodation, touring and camping in line with all other parks in England.

We are confident that we will be able to operate our accommodation and pitches safely, when the time is right.

On the 4th July we are expecting to welcome back:

  • Privately owned holiday caravans (pitch available)
  • Seasonal tourers (pitches available)
  • Self Catering Cottages
  • Glamping Cabins (fully serviced).

On the 10th July we are accepting

  • Touring caravans and Motorhomes with their own facilities.

We hope to be able to make an announcement regarding the opening of our Hobbit Holes, Camping Pods, VW pitches and  Camping pitches soon. We wait on advice about the required operating procedures of shared facilities.  We have invested in a fogging machine to assist us with cleaning.

We will be providing contactless check-ins to all our guests.

The shop will be operated on a Click’n’Collect basis. Simply email your order through. We reply with the cost. You can then make payment by card and arrange a time to collect. From 10th July we will be offering a limited drinks takeaway service.

All our guests need to be mindful of the community within which we operate. This is our community and is not to be put at risk. The majority of you have visited us before so already know that without the support of our local community we could not opperate. Extra vigilance to provide generous social distancing and very slow driving along the access lanes is the minimum we would expect from our customers.  Anyone not abiding by this request will be required to leave.

The welfare of our team is also vital.  We will be providing contactless check-ins to all our guests. Face to Face contact will be at an absolute minimum. Our cleaning staff will be using appropriate PPE.

You, our customers will be provided with an environment where you can enjoy your holiday in safety. But you must be responsible for your own safety and consider the safety and wellbeing of all others at all times.

I would personally like to thank everyone who has agreed to accept credit notes (and this is the vast majority of you).  Your decision will allow us to be here for you in the future. You are enabling us to provide holidays to everyone who has booked, rather than providing just a few refunds.   You are absolute superstars and we will not forget you.  Please email or phone the office to rebook as soon as you know your dates.  Before we reopen for new bookings all holders of credit notes will be given first refusal.

We are registered with the local authority to provide accommodation for NHS workers, key workers and others in urgent need and have have been delighted to provide much needed accomodation.

The world has taken a turn for the surreal but looks to be slowly resuming a degree of normality.

The Quiet Site bookings are open for 2021 and Gift Voucher are also available online.
