Sustainability is in our DNA

We have been investing in sustainability for two decades – and we try to keep the pipes and wires ‘behind the scenes’.

Heat pumps, triple insulated glamping units, solar PV, solar thermal, 6 district heat mains, a zero waste shop are just some of the projects we have completed to date.  But you wont see rows of ugly solar panels in fields at The Quiet Site – we have integrated them into our existing buildings roofs so keeping everything pretty.

We hope you wont notice that we generate 90% of our own energy on site and just enjoy your stay at our award winning site.
