Dog Friendly Camping

Our campsite is dog-friendly. We welcome dogs of all sizes and we have a lovely wild flower meadow that has a path round for the dogs to roam off the lead.  We also now have an agreement with our neighbour to use there large field for exercising dogs staying at our site.

On site, dogs MUST be on leads at all times.

Dogs are welcome to stay in tents, caravans, cottages and our dog friendly  hobbit holes, Gingerbread House and camping pods.  Please make sure when booking Camping Pods, Gingerbread House and Hobbit Holes you choose the dog friendly section.  Only one dog is permitted per Glamping Unit unless you have contacted the office to discuss.

The Lake District is nature’s playground for people and pooches alike, so bring your four legged friend with you on your camping holiday in the Lakes and explore what we think is one of the best places on earth.

We ask dog owners to please be responsible and consider others at all times. Dogs must never be left on their own.  Please do not allow your dog to constantly bark. Failure to observe these rules may result in being asked to leave.  We do not accept dangerous breeds or dogs.
