Old wood store, recycling area, campers kitchen and garage reach the end of their road.
After 50 years of existence the really useful but ugly old corrugated tin building in the entrance to the park is being replaced. Many of you will remember it as the first thing you saw when entering the site: stacks of fire wood and the recycling area, lovely! We have relocated the recycling area, wood store, chemical loo and a new dog/boot wash (exciting..!) into another building. The new replacement building will take up the same area as the old one but will be set back from the road giving a much nicer entrance to the site. We have taken the opportunity of adding a new access to the bar without steps. This building will also house a lovely new campers kitchen, reception and shop. The building will be up by December but the internal work will sadly take a little longer. Disruption to our guests will be kept to a minimum and we hope the finished product will be well worth the inconvenience.
