New Ullswater Bus service
A new Ullswater bus service will begin on 1st July. It will link the valley and connect accommodation providers, including The Quiet Site, with attractions and people with the places they want to go. The bus will use Pooley Bridge as its hub, and operate over 3 routes. The first route, UB1 will loop round Watermillock stopping at accommodations and the popular Ullswater way access point at Watermillock Church. The second route (UB2) will run out to Lowther Castle, stopping off anywhere required along the route. And the third route (UB3) will run down to Howtown, useful if you wish to climb Hallin Fell or visit Martindale or pick up the Howtown to Patterdale section of the Ullswater way.
